Toyota is "in the business of making great cars and trucks." They're world-famous as the manufacturer of high-quality, high-value cars, vans and trucks that set the standard for long-term resale value and durability.
Toyota of Southern California needed creative branding and presentation design for their corporate event at the prestigious Peterson Auto Museum in Los Angeles. With a "Back to the Future" theme, they required logo concepts and custom PowerPoint templates that would capture the film's nostalgic appeal while maintaining Toyota's brand identity. The challenge was blending Toyota's heritage with the iconic movie aesthetic to create cohesive event branding that resonated with attendees and honored both the automotive legacy and the beloved film franchise.
I developed multiple logo concepts in Adobe Illustrator inspired by the "Back to the Future" theme, drawing connections between Toyota's retro branding (yellow, orange, and red color palette) and the film's iconic logo aesthetic. I built custom PowerPoint templates that reflected the theme's nostalgic tone while maintaining professional polish for corporate presentation. The designs balanced playful homage to the 1980s film with Toyota's premium brand standards, creating a cohesive visual identity across all event materials.
The final presentation and branding materials were delivered to Toyota's team and successfully showcased during their Peterson Auto Museum event. The nostalgic, cohesive design captured the "Back to the Future" spirit while reinforcing Toyota's brand legacy, creating a memorable experience that connected automotive excellence with pop culture nostalgia.
