State of Ethos is a moto apparel brand inspired by the rugged, vintage 1960s motocross scene, aiming to disrupt the industry with unique & unconventional designs. They would release clothing in limited collections that required new marketing campaign collateral.
Client needed a versatile designer who could manage their Shopify store, create digital and print collateral, edit photography, and maintain their distinctive brand aesthetic influenced by minimalist marketing similar to GAP. With frequent product launches and a sponsored X-Games rider partnership, they required ongoing design support across multiple channels to disrupt the industry with their unconventional approach.
I served as their graphic designer and e-commerce manager, handling comprehensive Shopify site management including custom layouts for home and product pages, product imports, and app integrations. I designed social media graphics for each collection to boost engagement and created Klaviyo email and SMS campaigns from concept to execution. Working alongside their photographer, I retouched and edited product photography to maintain their clean, minimalist aesthetic. I also collaborated on a custom helmet design worn by their sponsored X-Games rider during ESPN broadcasts, bringing their brand to a national television audience.
My multifaceted design support enabled State of Ethos to consistently launch new collections with polished, cohesive marketing across all channels. The streamlined Shopify management improved their e-commerce operations, while the helmet design showcased their brand on a prominent national stage, reinforcing their position as disruptors in the moto apparel industry.
